INVESTING WITH PURPOSE
DRIVING SUSTAINABLE GROWTH FOR LASTING VALUE

Overview

From the outset, LeadCrest Capital Partners, together with its investors, has recognized the growing importance of corporate social responsibility and its value in creating lasting societal impact. Therefore, the environmental, social, and governance (ESG) strategy has been integrated and executed across all dimensions of the investment approach and process.

Out

The LeadCrest commitment to ESG has significantly enhanced the environmental performance of the investment portfolio, as evidenced by audits and certifications from globally recognized frameworks such as BREEAM. Today, LeadCrest is proudly aligned with leading institutions and organizations, including being a signatory to the UN Principles of Responsible Investments framework (UN PRI).

Responsible investing

Central to LeadCrest’s investment approach is responsible investing, where the company strives to deliver long-term sustained value for their investors, society, and the environment.

The purpose of the Real Estate Responsible Investment Policy is to articulate LeadCrest's dedication to integrating ESG considerations into our real estate investment strategy.

On 2 March 2022, LeadCrest became signatory of the UN Principles for Responsible Investment and decided to exclude certain category of assets and/or assets whose tenants derived a part or all of their income from sources that the company believes to be harmful for the climate, planet and society. By signing the principles, LeadCrest commits to adopt and implement them, where consistent with its fiduciary responsibilities. LeadCrest believes this will improve its ability to meet commitments to beneficiaries as well as better align their investment activities with the broader interests of society.

Case Study - Social Impact

LeadCrest Capital Partners is delighted to partner with Landsforeningen Autismeforeningen, National Association for Autism in Denmark, on behalf of AkademikerPension. The mission of the partnership is to develop new modern adult autism facilities for Boligfonden Autisme, a specialised autism care provider founded by Autismeforeningen. The first DKK 130 million project in Hvalsø, Denmark was completed in November 2024. The partnership introduces a new dimension to AkademikerPension's real estate strategy, with an emphasis on social infrastructure. Ny Højtoft facility is a state-of-the-art modern assisted living facility for people with autism. The facility provides adult autism accommodation as well as senior housing residences. At the heart of the new assisted living facility is a communal building that houses amenities accessible to all Ny Højtoft residents. This includes a hall, activity room, café area, gym, sensory room, and a courtyard. The calm design and serene surroundings ensure that residents can always find a comfortable space that feels welcoming and pleasant. The project was established with the latest design elements for specialised use, new technology, sustainable elements, such as PV panels, and importantly leveraging on insights and knowledge of the tenant and operator of Ny Højtoft in the spirit of the partnership and to ensure safe and comfortable homes for the residents.
